Clinical Results

We conducted in-vitro test (lab test) on skin identical model to evaluate the efficacy of this product in comparison to an Alpha Arbutin 2% serum from an international brand that offers active based products (called benchmark here).

Minimalist Alpha Arbutin 2% Serum reduced melanin concentration significantly higher than the benchmark product. While the benchmark product reduced melanin by 56%, Minimalist Alpha Arbutin 2% reduced melanin concentration by 70%. That is 25% more reduction than the benchmark product.

"I have been using minimalist products since 3 years and i have nothing but positive results. My acne scars have drastically disappeared, significant black heads gone. "I like this product better than vitamin c 16% because it does similar work of brightening dark spots but if your skin is already irritated or barrier is unrepaired it may cause burning sensation since its active ingredient. But if your skin is normal this will do amazing wonders."

"After 1 week of alpha arbutin Overall: Your skin looks fairly even and there is no obvious severe irritation, peeling, or redness visible. Pigmentation: There is still some uneven/darker pigmentation around the under-eye area, chin area, and some cheek areas. That's normal after only one week. Texture: Your skin looks relatively smooth, although there is some visible shine/moisture on the forehead and cheeks. Cap needs to be improved

"I’m having an issue with the bottle cap. Whenever I try to tighten the cap, it becomes loose instead of sealing properly. Because of this, the serum around the cap area seems to get exposed to air and becomes oxidised, leaving a white, powder-like residue around the opening. Now I have to be very careful while closing the bottle and tighten it only to a certain point to avoid the problem. I really hope the packaging can be improved, because it affects the product and makes it difficult to use properly."
