skin brightening serum doesn't suits

"skin brightening serum doesn't suits me and my brother, one have dry skin and one have oily, when we apply this serum it cause small pimples on our face but moisturizer and cleanser is good for both oily and dry skin. It also cause blackheads before applying the serum i didn't have that much blackheads but after applying i noticed it increase them."
